This hemiobol was part of a group of 15 archaic fractions from the Auriol hoard (1865), numbered I to XV and mounted on a gilded silver disk. These 15 coins come from the famous Joseph de Rémusat collection, dispersed on 17-18 May 1900 by the house Rollin & Feuardent, Drouot Paris.
